Membership Policy


Membership Fee

  • A once-off joining fee of R2,500 is required to become a full member. Thereafter an annual R500 renewal fee.

  • Funds are used to secure essential club resources, training materials, and emergency stockpiles while the current system remains operational.

Alternative Contributions

For those who prefer to contribute in practical ways, new members may exchange equivalent value in physical goods, such as:

  • Camping and outdoor survival gear

  • Tools and utility equipment

  • Self-defense items and protective gear

  • Non-perishable food, water filtration, and preservation supplies

  • Medical kits, batteries, radios, and other survival essentials

These contributions directly strengthen the club’s shared resources and readiness network.

Member Starter Pack

Upon joining, every member receives a Cape Preppers Club Starter Pack, which includes:

  • A branded club T-shirt

  • A bumper sticker for your vehicle

  • An official membership card

  • Additional club merchandise and survival reference material

These items represent your commitment to the cause and connect you with the wider prepping community across the Western Cape.

Referral-Only Membership

For the safety and integrity of our club and members, new applicants must be introduced by an existing member.

  • No open recruiting or public enrollment is allowed.

  • This ensures that every member is verified, trusted, and aligned with the club’s values of preparedness, discretion, and mutual respect.
