Urban Survival

In a densely populated environment, the key to survival is preparedness, security, and community coordination. Also lets not forget about the basics like clean water, food, shelter and trustworthy neighbors.

Rural Survival

Rural Survival focuses on long-term self-reliance in farm and small-town environments where access to supplies, medical services, and security support may be limited during a crisis.

Wilderness Survival

Wilderness Survival prepares members to operate as a small group typically up to 15 people living entirely off the land for extended periods. This is the really hardcore group who undergoes extensive training and preparations.

Coastal Survival

CPC members are trained to operate as a group of up to 15 people in demanding shoreline environments where wind, tides, and limited fresh water create unique challenges. So much depends on your location and your equipment.

8 Core survival Section

Situational Awareness & Survival Psychology

• Threat recognition (urban unrest vs wilderness hazards vs coastal exposure) • Decision-making under stress • Group dynamics and leadership • Avoidance vs engagement mindset

Shelter & Environmental Protection

Urban: building fortification, concealment • Rural: farm structures, barns, improvised housing • Wilderness: natural shelters, weatherproofing • Coastal: wind, salt exposure, sand anchoring Focus: staying alive in your environment within hours..

Water Procurement & Purification

• Urban recovery (tanks, geysers, infrastructure) • Rural sources (boreholes, dams) • Wilderness (streams, rainfall, plant sourcing) • Coastal (desalination basics, solar stills) Water is your #1 survival priority..

Food Sourcing, Rationing & Preservation

• Urban scavenging & ration control • Rural farming, livestock basics • Wilderness foraging, trapping, fishing • Coastal fishing, shellfish, seaweed Includes preservation: drying, salting, smoking.

Fire, Energy & Power Systems

• Fire craft (wilderness & rural) • Urban off-grid systems (solar, gas, batteries) • Coastal wind considerations • Fuel management and efficiency Heat, cooking, signaling, and morale.

Security, Defense & Risk Management

• Urban threats (looting, gangs) • Rural isolation risks • Wilderness predators/environmental dangers • Coastal hazards (piracy, exposure, isolation) 👉 Defensive mindset, perimeter control, and movement safety.

Navigation, Movement & Evacuation

• Urban route planning & escape • Rural terrain navigation • Wilderness land navigation (map, compass, stars) • Coastal navigation (tides, currents, shoreline movement) Includes bug-out planning and group movement.

Medical, Hygiene & Long-Term Sustainability

• Trauma care & first aid • Disease prevention (critical in all environments) • Sanitation systems • Long-term survival planning (community, trade, rebuilding) 👉 This is what keeps people alive after the first few weeks.
